Police determine Saskatoon pedestrian collision involving train was fatal

Saskatoon police were called to a pedestrian collision involving a train at 20th Street and Avenue I.

The collision occurred at roughly 5:21 p.m. on Thursday. Members of the collision analyst and forensic idenitification units have determined that the incident was fatal, and that further details will be released when they are available.

Traffic restrictions set in place after the collision have been lifted, police added, saying that traffic at intersections previously affected is now flowing normally.
