Man killed in early morning crash on Highway 35 south of Lindsay

A man is dead following a single-vehicle crash south of Lindsay on Tuesday morning.

Around 4:25 a.m., Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to a crash on Highway 35 south of Lindsay.

Police say the driver and lone occupant was transported from the scene and was pronounced deceased.

He has been identified as Randy Vivian, 60, of Lindsay.

The highway was closed between River Road and Tower Road as OPP investigate.

The highway has since reopened.
