Police said they responded to a call around 9 a.m. Tuesday near Caledonia Road and Lotherton Pathway just south of Lawrence Avenue West.

Duty Insp. Mandeep Mann said the shooting took place on the sixth floor of 50 Lotherton Pathway.

Authorities said the victims are a 47-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man. Their identities have not been released.

“There is a connection [between the two victims] and at this point I am not at liberty to provide that information because it is an active investigation,” Mann said.

The Emergency Task Force attended the scene on Tuesday searching for suspects. No descriptions were made available other than a suspect in a black hoodie seen fleeing the area.

“We have some video evidence at this time and we are reviewing it. So we have some leads,” Mann said.

Police have since obtained security camera video and released photos of the suspect.
