A Toledo man was really upset that the power was out at his home so he decided to set off some fireworks “for attention,” police say.

Police were called to a home earlier this week after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting the sounds of gunfire, WTOL reported.

Officers arrived to find a man setting off fireworks, while neighbours were still calling 911.

Odell Allen allegedly told police he was putting on a fireworks display because he was angry that power was out at his house, and he wanted some attention.

Authorities asked Allen if he was done for the night, to which he said “I don’t know, I might have one more,” the news station reported.

The man was arrested and charged with unauthorized fireworks discharge.
