Surrey resident Jonnie Daguno has seen people get stuck on the hill outside his Surrey home many times before.
But he’s never seen someone help push a taxi up the hill quite like he saw on Sunday night.
Following the snowfall on Sunday evening, Daguno looked out his window on Surrey Road at 8:40 p.m. to see a taxi stuck on the hill.

Next thing he knew, an SUV with a man lying on the roof pulled up behind the taxi, bracing his legs between the two cars so the SUV could help push the taxi up the hill.
Daguno said the move was successful as the taxi was being pushed up the hill.
“People often get stuck on that hill when there’s snow,” he said.
