Guelph police have identified a man who died over the weekend after being pulled from the Speed River as 50-year-old Marc Louis Robinette.
Police said emergency crews were called to the area of Wellington and Arthur at around 10 p.m. on Saturday for reports of a man in the water.

Robinette was pronounced dead at a hospital after he was pulled out of the water.

Police are now looking for witnesses who may have been in the area.
