A man from Caledon has been charged in connection with a shoplifting incident in Alliston, police say.
According to Nottawasaga OPP, on Thursday at around 6:30 p.m., a loss prevention officer at a retail store on Dunham Drive allegedly witnessed a suspect concealing two Wi-Fi routers and a smart lock.

Officers say store security observed the man leaving without paying for the items.
Police say the items reported stolen have been valued at over $600.

Officers say as a result, a 37-year-old man from Caledon was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000.
Police say he has also been banned from entering the store in the future.
According to police, the accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Bradford at a later date.
