Homicide investigation in Grimsby

Niagara Police are investigating a homicide in Grimsby.

Around 4:30 a.m. Friday, police found a 31-year-old woman with serious injuries at a business in the Main and Bartlett area.

She was taken to hospital, where she died. The victim’s name has not been released.

Police say a 39-year-old Toronto man, Mark Burrell, has been arrested and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.

Police say the two knew each other.
