Broken sprinkler evacuates one of Winnipeg’s tallest buildings

One of the city’s highest skyscrapers was evacuated Monday evening.

The fire alarm sounded shortly after 5 p.m. at 201 Portage Avenue sending people who work in the building down the stairs.

The cause of the alarm was a broken sprinkler head.
