The latest winter storm is blowing across the province.
Environment Canada has issued a Snowfall Warning for Hamilton and all of southern Ontario, with up to 20 cm possible by Tuesday morning, depending on where you live.
The weather agency says snow will be heavy at times and high winds will also cause blowing snow and reduced visibility on the roads.
The impacts of the latest bout of wintry weather are already being felt in Hamilton.
The Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) says it is experiencing delays of up to 10 minutes on numerous bus routes due to weather and road conditions.
The HSR says passengers are urged to be patient and leave time for travel.
Global News meteorologist Anthony Farnell says total snowfall amounts will be in the range of 15 to 20 cm.
Upwards of 5 to 10 cm of lake effect snow fell Monday morning between Hamilton and Mississauga, and an Alberta Clipper will come through the region Monday afternoon and evening.
Environment Canada has issued weather advisories for all of southern Ontario, warning that 15 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected to blanket the region later Monday.
The national weather agency says travel conditions may deteriorate quickly and it adds that accumulating snow will make it hard to navigate highways, roads, sidewalks, and parking lots, especially during the afternoon commute and evening hours.
