Guelph police say a pair of men were arrested early this morning on accusations of thefts from vehicles and a break in at a home in the city’s east end.
Police say the arrests occurred around 3:00 a.m. in the Grange Road and Hill Trail area, after reports of two suspicious men seen rummaging through vehicle and mail boxes in the area were received.
The arrests also come after Guelph police reported several thefts from vehicles occurring in the city in recent days.
Investigators also confirm that the garage of a home in that neighbourhood was broken into overnight.
As a result, both Guelph men, aged 23 and 18, are facing several charges including break and enter, commit trespass by night and possession of stolen property obtained by crime.

The accused were held ahead of a bail hearing scheduled for later today.
Guelph police believe there may be more victims and are asking anyone in the Grange Road, Hill Trail and Watson Parkway areas to contact them if they believe that their vehicles or garages were broken into or if possessions are missing.
