History

Renaud claimed more than half of the votes early on in the 2015 election, beating out Progressive Conservative incumbent Stephen Khan.

The political history of the riding is varied, with the PCs winning seats in the two previous elections, Liberal candidates being elected in 1993 and 2004 and the NDP winning a seat in 1986.
