History

Coolahan had an early win of the Calgary-Klein riding in the 2015 election, claiming 46.5 per cent of the votes before 9 p.m.

The riding was created in a 2010 boundary redistribution that used parts of the Calgary-Nose Hill and Calgary-North Hill ridings and was named after former Progressive Conservative Premier Ralph Klein.

It includes the communities of Cambrian Heights, Capitol Hill, Collingwood, Triwood, GreenviewThorncliff, Highland Park, Highwood, Mount Pleasant, North Haven, Rosemont, Tuxedo Park, Winston Heights and Mountainview.
