Manitoba Hydro said there were two large power outages in Winnipeg Wednesday morning.
The first one was down Route 90 near Red River College, but has since been restored.
The second, in the Garden City area, was still affecting customers through the morning.
There were almost 8,000 Winnipeg residents without power before 9 a.m.
Hydro said they weren’t sure if the outages were connected to each other, but their crews were investigating.

There were actually four outages in the city, according to the Hydro website, as well as a number of others in the province.
