A 23-year-old man was sent to hospital on Saturday after he was struck by a vehicle in Halifax.
Halifax Regional Police say the collision happened just before 1 p.m. at the corner of Barrington and Prince streets.
Police say the victim was crossing Barrington and was struck by a car travelling north. He was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The 30-year-old driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Barrington Street between George and Sackville is currently closed to traffic as police investigate the cause of the crash.
Several Halifax Transit buses are being forced to take alternative routes as a result of the collision.

Police say it is currently not known if charges will be laid.
