CALGARY- RCMP have seized up to $500,000 in cash hidden in a vehicle, thanks in part to the efforts of a police dog named Gus.

The four-year-old lab was called in after police pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation on the QE 11 near Olds, north of Calgary.
Gus found the cash in several large bags.
The driver has been charged under the proceeds of crime section of the criminal code.
