LINGAN, N.S. – Police say no one was injured today when a school bus carrying children and a car collided in Cape Breton.
They say the accident happened at 8:10 near Ashdale Drive and Lingan Road in Lingan.

The two vehicles were being examined by a traffic safety unit, which is standard procedure.
Emergency health services were dispatched to the scene as a precaution.
Police say they were still awaiting further details on the accident.
