A crash involving a semi-truck and a bus near Kerrobert, Sask., late Friday afternoon has injured 10 people, according to the RCMP.
According to an RCMP Facebook post, officers were called to a crash at the intersection of highways 21, 31, and 51 on the northwest edge of the town, which is located about 65 km east of the Alberta border.
Police responded to the crash at about 5:10 p.m. CT.

The bus was carrying oil field workers and came to rest on its side in the northbound ditch. The semi-truck, which was hauling two trailers of canola, came to a stop near the center of Highway 31 in the intersection, facing north.
Three people were taken to Saskatoon by STARS air ambulance, while another three were transported by ambulance to Kerrorbert and Unity hospitals.
Three people taken to hospital in Saskatoon are believed to have sustained serious injuries. Four others were treated on scene, and none of the injuries are considered life-threatening at this time, police say.
Investigators said that of the 16 people on the bus, 10 were injured. The driver of the grain truck was not hurt.
“The collision is currently under investigation,” Kerrobert RCMP said in a news release. “It is expected that there will be road restrictions until at least 2 a.m.” At this point in the investigation, police say, alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, but the sequence of events that led up to and caused the collision are still under investigation.
An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended to the scene and the roads were closed until 5:00 am Saturday morning, both for the sake of investigation and the safety of members at the scene. Police asked drivers to avoid the area.
Kerrobert is approximately 175 km west of Saskatoon.
