RICHMOND HILL, Ont. – Police say a 79-year-old piano teacher has been charged in an alleged historical sexual assault.
York regional police say a student alleged the teacher sexually assaulted her between 2005 and 2007 while he was giving her piano lessons at her home.

They say the student was under 16 at the time.
Police say they believe there could be other alleged victims.

They say Edward Luka of Richmond Hill, Ont., was charged with two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference.
Police say he was released on bail and will return to court next month.
