WATCH ABOVE: A dramatic rescue from a house fire is raising serious questions about staffing issues in West Kelowna Fire Halls. Station 32 responded to the fire in Lakeview Heights on Saturday they almost didn't have enough firefighters to free the father and son trapped inside.

West Kelowna Fire Rescue is bringing attention to a staffing situation the union feels could compromise public safety.

After a fire on Saturday where two people were still trapped inside the home, West Kelowna Fire sent out this tweet.
