Suspect wanted after alleged sexual assault of girl in Brampton home, police say

BRAMPTON, Ont. – Peel Regional Police say they’re hunting for a suspect who allegedly broke into a home and sexually assaulted a girl.

They allege the incident took place early Sunday morning at a home near Massey Street and Mallard Crescent, near Bramalea Road and North Park Drive.

They say the suspect confronted the victim, who they described as under 16, but did not provide further details.

They say the girl was a resident of the home.

Police have released surveillance video from the area and say they hope it will lead to information about his identity.

Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
