One person has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a collision in Cumberland County Thursday morning.
Around 6:40 a.m., police say a car and tractor trailer collided on Kolbec Road in Kolbec, N.S.

The driver of the car was transported by EHS LifeFlight to hospital in Halifax with serious injuries.
Police say a passenger in the car and the driver of the tractor trailer were taken to the Cumberland Regional Health Centre with undetermined injuries.

As a result of a collision, a detour is currently in place.
Traffic travelling into Oxford on the Kolbec Rd. (Hwy 301) will be detoured at the intersection of Kolbec Rd. and Dickson Rd. to Mt. Pleasant Rd. back to Kolbec Rd.
