An Alberta woman who was reported missing in B.C. over the weekend has been located, according to Golden RCMP.

RCMP confirmed Wednesday morning that Sheila Scrutton has been found. The 73-year-old is “safe and sound,” RCMP said.

Scrutton was reported missing on Sunday. She was last seen on Saturday, leaving Kinbasket Lake in the Golden, B.C., area.

Scrutton is from Rocky Mountain House. Police believed she was camping in the area when she went missing, which officers said was out of character for the woman.
