What’s open, closed and happening in Ottawa this long weekend

Before heading out to run errands on this long weekend here’s what you need to know about what’s open, what’s closed, and what hours of operation are different across Ottawa.

This Monday is not a statutory holiday so many retail and grocery stores will be open.

Getting around:

  • All City of Ottawa parking regulations and restrictions will still apply.
  • OC Transpo will operate on a Sunday schedule, with extra service added to routes 44, 94, 95 and 105.

Food and drink:

  • Most grocery stores in the city will be operating at regular hours
  • Most LCBO locations will be open. Consult the store finder for hours in your area
  • Most Beer Store locations will be open regular hours

Shopping and entertainment:

  • All malls in the city will be open until 6 p.m. except the Bayshore Mall, which is open only until 5 p.m.
  • All museums in the city will be open regular hours

Garbage and recycling:

  • There will be no curbside collection on Monday
