Track issue fixed after causing lengthy delays on Vancouver’s Canada Line Friday

UPDATE: TransLink says Canada Line service is resuming after a lengthy delay Friday morning. It will take some time for crowds to clear.

A track issue is causing a headache for Vancouver commuters on the Canada Line Friday morning.

TransLink is warning customers about lengthy delays.

There is significantly reduced service between Langara-49th and Broadway-City Hall stations.

Customers heading into Waterfront must change trains at Langara-49th Avenue Station and again at Broadway-City Hall Station.

Customers heading to Richmond and the airport must also change at these stations.

Vancouver Airport is warning passengers should allow for extra time Friday morning.

A shuttle train is currently operating between Langara and Broadway City Hall and a bus bridge has been set up between Marine Drive Station to Broadway City Hall.
