Attempted child abduction reported in Tisdale, Sask.

Police in Tisdale, Sask. are investigating a report of an attempted child abduction.

Two girls, six and nine, said they were approached Monday evening by a man driving a truck on 100 Street, offering them candy and a ride home.

The girls declined the offer without incident.

Tisdale RCMP said an extensive search of the area was made, but no one fitting the description of the man or the truck was found.

He is described as having a darker complexion, in his 30s, short brown hair, and wearing glasses.

He was driving a white four-door truck, possibly a Dodge, with rust on the bottom. There were passengers in the vehicle at the time.
