Manitoba driver slapped with nearly $1,800 speeding ticket

A driver was slapped with a $1752 ticket for speeding in a construction zone. RCMP handout

A driver will be digging deep in the wallet to pay for a speeding ticket after being nabbed for doing 125 km/h in a 60 km/h construction zone.

The driver was fined $1752.

RCMP say it happened on Hwy. 10 south of Minnedosa.

“Ouch! That’s gonna hurt the wallet,” the RCMP tweeted Wednesday morning.
