A man has been charged with aggravated assault following a fight outside of a home in Middleton, N.S., on Saturday afternoon.
Nova Scotia RCMP say the fight happened on Main Street just before 1 p.m.

Police say the fight resulted in a 27-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. He was sent to the Soldier’s Memorial Hospital in Middleton, then to the Valley Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police located and arrested the suspect a short time later.
Martin Andrew Ross, 32, of Middleton, appeared in Digby provincial court on Monday to face the charge. He remains in custody and is scheduled to reappear in court on Aug. 10.
