A portion of Cross Avenue in Oakville has been closed thanks to a giant sinkhole.
Police discovered the sinkhole around 4 p.m. on Sunday and immediately shut down Cross Avenue from Cornwall Road to Lyons Lane.
Road repairs are currently underway.
Halton Regional Police is advising motorists and pedestrians to avoid the area until the work is completed.
