Big warm up launches into 30-degree heat before the end of July.

Saskatoon Forecast

Friday

Temperatures slipped back to the low teens to start the final Friday of July with light winds even creating a reflection on the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon.

Mostly cloudy skies that kicked off the day stuck around right into the afternoon as we warmed up into the low 20s before noon.

The mercury climbed up even further, reaching up to around 25 degrees for an afternoon high with a slight chance of late day showers and the risk of a thunderstorm.

Friday Night

Clouds that bubbled up during the day clear out in the evening with the loss of daytime heating as we cool back into low double digits overnight.

Saturday

Sunshine and a few clouds will be the type of skies that launch us into the weekend early Saturday before a few cumulus clouds bubble up with a slight chance of showers late in the day.

Temperatures will be on the rise with an afternoon high topping out around 27 degrees under a mix of sun and cloud.

Sunday

The warm effects of an upper ridge pushing in will be felt even further on Sunday as our afternoon high springs up even further to around 29 degrees later in the day.

Mostly sunny skies will dominate the day with winds finally remaining light right through the entire weekend.

Work Week Outlook

The work week will start off on a sunny and hot note on Monday with mostly sunny skies until late in the day when some clouds roll in with a chance of showers at night after we warm into the low 30s for a daytime high.

The final day of July will be slightly cooler under a mix of sun and cloud before a few more clouds with a chance of showers roll in for the first few days of August with afternoon highs returning to the mid-20s.
