N.S. RCMP seek public’s help in finding missing B.C. man

Nova Scotia RCMP are turning to the public to help find a missing British Columbia man who may still be out east.

Nova Scotia RCMP say Danny Legault, 60, is five-foot-six, 250-pound man with a light complexion, brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say he may be wearing thin-rimmed glasses and may have a moustache.

RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jennifer Clarke says it’s believed Legault could be staying at a campground in Grand Lake in the Halifax Regional Municipality.

“We’re hoping that anyone who has seen him will give us a call and let us know,” said Cpl. Clarke, adding that he may be cycling in the province or staying at different campgrounds or hotels.

Legault’s family has also put out a public call for information on his whereabouts.

Legault’s family tells Global News that he went to Laurie National Park last week, where he was seen by employees, but he never made it to his return flight on July 21.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Halifax District RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
