Alberta RCMP closed the westbound lanes of Highway 1 at Range Road 33 due to a serious vehicle collision late Tuesday morning.

Officers said they responded to a collision at around 10 a.m. that involved at least two vehicles.
“Occupants of one or both of the vehicles have been transported to a Calgary hospital with undetermined injuries,” police said in a news release.
The road was re-opened to traffic at around 12:19 p.m.
