Police investigating cause of overnight fire in Collingwood

Police have launched an investigation into a fire that took place overnight in Collingwood.

According to Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP, the fire occurred at a commercial property on First Street near Cedar Street in Collingwood.

Police say officers and the Collingwood Fire Department were called to the scene at 5:26 a.m. on July 19.

Officers believe the fire originated from a vehicle being used as a food truck located on the property, but Ontario’s Office of the Fire Marshal is scheduled to help in determining the cause of the fire.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
