Man, 22, in serious condition following shooting in Saint John

A 22-year-old man is in hospital in serious but stable condition following a shooting in Saint John’s east end Friday night.

The Saint John Police Force says the shooting happened just after 9:30 p.m. on Mountain Road.

Police say they currently do not have a suspect, but public safety is not at risk as it was not a random act.

The police force’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting.
