Parc Safari welcomes 4 cheetah cubs (and yes, there’s video)

Baby cheetahs make their debut at Parc Safari. Parc Safari

Imani, Ilanga, Bemba and Malik are the newest furry additions to Parc Safari, in Hemmingford, Que.

The four cheetah cubs — two male and two female — join their siblings, Mosi and Jelanie, who were the first cheetah cubs to be born in Quebec back in 2017.

The cubs’ mother, Akeelah, carried them to term and gave birth naturally.

She was under camera surveillance with an emergency team on standby in case of emergency, but the births occurred without any human intervention.

This is different from the first birth, where Mosi and Jelanie were delivered via emergency C-section due to complications during pregnancy.

The four baby cheetahs each weighed 300 to 400 grams at birth.
