MILTON, Ont. – Halton regional police allege a suspect tried to pin an officer against a transport truck with a pickup and injured a security guard while fleeing a break and enter scene in Milton, Ont.

They say the officer was not injured, but the security guard suffered minor injuries attempting to get out of the way of the vehicle on Monday morning.

Police say the other two suspects ran away and were arrested about an hour later.

Investigators say the suspect truck was later spotted travelling eastbound on Highway 401, but due to the dangerous operation of the vehicle a pursuit was called off.
