Kingston police are looking for the public’s assistance to help find an all-terrain vehicle they say went missing over the long weekend.
Police say a Kubota RTV-X1140 was stolen from City Park off Barrie Street, but could not specify what day the vehicle was taken. The retail value of the model police specified starts at over US$16,000.
According to a police press release, the vehicle was parked on a trailer near a building, and on the morning of July 3 the trailer was found, but the Kubota was gone.
Police believe someone tried to steal the vehicle and the trailer, but then the trailer got stuck and the Kubota was unloaded and driven away.
