WINNIPEG – The Manitoba Moose announced the signings of seven players on Tuesday.
The Moose signed defenceman Peter Stoykewych to a two-year contract.
The Moose also signed defencemen Charles-David Beaudoin, Jacob Cederholm and Justin Woods, as well as forwards Matt Ustaski, Kristian Reichel and goaltender Ken Appleby to one-year agreements.
Stoykewych, 25, played the last three seasons with the Moose. Last season the Winnipeg product tallied nine goals and 18 assists in 70 games and led the team with a plus/minus rating of +28.

Beaudoin, Cederholm, Woods and Ustaski all appeared in games with Manitoba last season.
Reichel, 20, played in 63 games with the WHL’s Red Deer Rebels last season where he notched 34 goals and 23 assists.
Appleby, 23, had a 10-13-1 record in 26 AHL games with the Binghamton Devils. He had a 2.76 goals against average and 0.901 save percentage. He also appeared in three games with the New Jersey Devils in the 2017-2018 season. He stopped 52 of 55 shots in 124 minutes.

The Moose lost several players to free agency over the weekend.
Moose captain Patrice Cormier signed in the Kontintental Hockey League with Barys Astana. Forward Mike Sgarbossa signed a contract with the Washington Capitals. Forward Buddy Robinson inked a two-year, two-way contract with the Calgary Flames and defenceman Jan Kostalek is headed to the Czech league with HC Sparta Praha.
