It was Gable’s first 100-yard rushing game of the season and set a career high for the sixth-year CFL player.  Gable averaged 38 yards rushing in the first two games, he said staying patient was important following a less-than ideal start.

“I don’t get worried I just get frustrated sometimes with myself because sometimes when that happens I do to much,” Gable said. “I told myself that I needed to just relax and when it’s going to come it’s going to come so don’t rush anything. Some games I’m probably going to have less than that but I just got to make sure that I just stay on my course and make sure I just read my holes right and just be patient back there and whatever happens, happens.”

The Eskimos offence recorded 517 yards of offence and 326 passing yards with six receivers catching at least one pass to compliment the rushing attack which put up 191 yards.

Head coach Jason Maas says he likes that style of offence where the ball is being spread around.

“On offence when you can spread the ball around, multiple people can touch it I mean you just become a more dangerous offence when you can get people involved,” Maas said. “You know that’s what we try to do around here is target everybody and there’s guys that are targeted more than other but there’s still guys that have roles and they need to play it. We move our personnel groups in and out to get everyone involved so they all feel a part of our offence.”
