Drugs and weapons were seized by Saskatoon police, and two people arrested, during a Tuesday evening traffic stop.

Patrol officers said they spotted suspicious activity surrounding a grey Audi Quattro in the 1400-block of Avenue G North at roughly 10 p.m. CT.

The 35-year-old driver was wanted by Humboldt RCMP. Officers found over $4,600 in cash divided into three bundles on him during a search.

A number of drugs, including meth, powdered cocaine, and crack cocaine were then found in the Audi, along with a loaded sawed-off rifle, knives, cell phones, and $18,000 in cash.

Two men, 23 and 35, are facing more than 30 charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and numerous Criminal Code violations.
