Wynonna Judd‘s daughter, Grace Pauline Kelley, has been sentenced to eight years in prison for leaving a court-mandated drug recovery program, which was a condition of her probation.
The 22-year-old’s arrest was originally issued in November 2017; a few months earlier, in May, she pleaded guilty in Tennessee’s Williamson County Court to meth manufacture, delivery, sale and possession with intent.

At the time, she was also charged with manufacturing and delivering meth in neighbouring Maury County, and pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of meth possession.
She was originally sentenced to almost a year in prison, but the sentence was suspended and replaced with probation. During the probation, she was expected to spend 180 days in a rehab facility.

This isn’t the first time Kelley has had run-ins with the law.
In 2011, she disappeared for several days during a flight layover while coming home from boarding school. After that, she went to a “behavioural camp” for six months. Kelley reportedly stayed with her aunt, Ashley Judd, in 2013, when the movie star obtained temporary custody of her.
In December 2015, she was arrested in a Nashville Walgreens parking lot, and was charged several months later with promotion of meth manufacture. As she did in the most recent case, she pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of possessing meth.

Later in 2016, she was arrested in Alabama as a “fugitive from justice,” and her probation was revoked.
Kelley is Judd’s daughter with her first husband, Arch Kelley III.
Kelley’s release date is set for Aug. 10, 2025, but she is eligible for parole next year, on Feb. 4, 2019. She’s not expected to serve a full sentence.
