Police are asking for the public’s help after firearms and a collection of old Canadian currency was stolen from a home in northwestern New Brunswick last week.
New Brunswick RCMP say the break, enter and theft happened sometime between June 15 and June 17 in Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, N.B.

Police say nine firearms – including seven rifles and two shotguns – were stolen from the home on Sirois Road.
A collection of antique forks, a Dewalt drill, medication, alcohol, gold jeweler and a collection of old Canadian currency were also taken, according to police.

The old Canadian currency includes bills from 1954 with dominations of $1,000, $20, $10, $5, $2 and $1.
Several old $100 bills and a $50 bill from 1937 were also taken, according to a news release from New Brunswick RCMP.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact Saint-Léonard RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
