Halton police have identified a suspect in connection with a baseball bat attack that sent two men to hospital with serious injuries.

Rankirat Singh, 20, of Brampton is wanted for two counts of aggravated assault and one count of assault causing bodily harm.

Investigators say the incident on Wednesday morning began over a dispute involving a real-estate transaction.

Police say three men were in a car that was surrounded by several suspect vehicles on Wednesday morning near the Halton/Peel border and then they were attacked with baseball bats.

Officers executed a search warrant on Thursday at a Brampton residence where they seized two motor vehicles involved in the altercation, as well as several sticks and a baton.
