Toronto man charged in 2017 road rage shooting incident in Ajax: police

AJAX, Ont. – Police say a 25-year-old Toronto man is charged after allegedly firing a weapon during a 2017 road rage incident in nearby Ajax, Ont.

There were no injuries and witnesses reported a man in a black Jaguar fired shots at a man in another vehicle.

Officers located the suspect vehicle in Pickering, Ont., and police say the driver fled after it collided with another vehicle.

Investigators say the suspect was arrested Thursday in Toronto.

He is charged with careless discharge of a firearm, failing to stop for police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and failing to remain at the scene of a collision.
