More movement at a slide site on Westside Road north of West Kelowna has again forced the temporary closure of the road.
A large chunk of the road let loose down a ravine three kilometers north of Fintry on May 1st. The road was temporarily shut down.
Heavy rain Tuesday night caused more of the water saturated material to slump away and the road was again closed.

After a safety inspection by a geo-technical engineer Westside Road re-opened Wednesday afternoon to single-lane alternating traffic.
Work begins Thursday to rebuild the road-bed. It should be ready for two-way traffic in two or three weeks.
