Police searching for suspect in Tillsonburg walking-trail holdup

Oxford County OPP say they’re on the hunt for a suspect accused of robbing another man.

Officers say they were called around 8:15 p.m. Thursday to Broadway Street after reports of a robbery.

They say their investigation showed two men who met each other earlier in the evening were on a walking trail behind the Burger King on Broadway Street when they got into a fight.

The suspect allegedly demanded cash from the victim before fleeing on foot, heading south on Broadway Street.

Police say the suspect said his name was Cody and was about six feet tall, 25 to 35 years old and had dark, medium-length curly hair. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt and jeans and possibly had a missing upper tooth.
