The Guelph Humane Society is looking for information after a stray dog was found in pretty rough shape in Guelph on Wednesday.
The Rottweiler mix was found near Wellington and Gordon streets by a passerby and brought to the humane society.

Officials said an examination revealed the one-year-old dog was dehydrated, extremely underweight and suffering from severe hair loss.

The dog also had untreated infections on the skin, eyes and ears.

“We are looking for the public’s assistance to help find the owner of this dog,” said Megan Swan with the Ontario SPCA. “We would like to understand more about his medical condition and how he came to be wandering in downtown Guelph.”
