One person is dead following a house fire on Queen Street East in the Hespeler area of Cambridge on Thursday morning.
The blaze broke out at around 1:30 a.m. and Waterloo Regional Police said one person was inside at the time of the fire and was pronounced dead.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the fire along with the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office, Cambridge Fire Department and the coroner’s office.
Queen Street East was closed between Hungerford Road and Panabaker Street for the investigation.
