25-year-old man in Winnipeg found after being reported missing

UPDATE: Police tweeted Sunday evening that Sand has been found.

Russell Sand, reported missing earlier today, has been located safe and sound. WPS would like to thank the public for their assistance.

Winnipeg police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing man.

Russell Damian Sand was last seen on Saturday around 11:30 p.m. at The Forks.

The 25-year-old was wearing a black leather jacket, a black hoodie, black jeans, blue/tan boots and carrying a grey backpack.

Police describe him as six-feet tall, with a skinny build and sandy-brown hair with a “Justin Bieber style” haircut.

Officials are concerned for his well-being and anyone with information can call the police non-emergency number at 204-986-6222.
