An Oscar winning actor is in the Okanagan, filming a movie.

Richard Dreyfuss is part of the action thriller ‘Daughter of the Wolf’ which started principal photography in West Kelowna earlier this month.

Dreyfuss is best known for his role in Jaws in 1975, and won the Best Actor Oscar for The Goodbye Girl in 1977.

The film also stars Gina Carano from Fast & Furious 6.
